This Cancellation and Return Policy applies to all orders for products and services placed on the zedy.ca website (the “Site“), operated by (“Zedy“, “we“, “us”) and through the “Vendors” store.

Site subscription

The basic subscription to the site as a seller is free, you can deactivate your free account at any time.

When buying an annual plan:

Buying promotional services

Paid services will be offered to vendors to promote their eco-friendly products or services. These promotions are done either at the Site display or with external partners (Google Shopping, Facebook Ads, etc.)

When purchasing a promotional service, no refund will be offered, but you will be eligible for a credit under the following conditions:

BUYERS

Each seller has its own return and refund policies. In the case that a store does not post its return and refund policies, the seller will be required to comply with the following Zedy return and refund policies:

Delivery delay

A Buyer may cancel his purchase of a product at any time, before the product is shipped, within the following time frame:

Notice of cancellation by Buyer: shall be effective on the date such notice is sent to Seller.

Refunds

In the case of cancellation before delivery, Seller shall refund Buyer within 15 days of cancellation.

Each Seller must include its return and refund policy in its store. The policy included in the store must be respected by each Seller.

If no return and refund policy is mentioned in a Seller’s store, the following refund policy will be considered:

DAMAGE BY THE SHIPPING COMPANY

In the case of damage to the product by the shipping company, Buyer must submit a cancellation request and provide Seller, within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of the item, with all necessary supporting evidence (such as photos, testimonials, etc.) so that Seller can claim reimbursement from the shipping company or its insurer.

A return with refund is only considered when the product has been damaged by the shipping company and it acknowledges its responsibility.

Seller shall make every effort to confirm the return with refund within fifteen (15) days of Buyer’s cancellation request.

A return label will be sent to the Buyer upon approval of the cancellation request. The product must be returned in its original packaging (or better), by the Buyer, within seven (7) business days of receipt.

Once Seller receives proof of shipment of the product (from the shipping company) from Buyer in the prescribed manner, it may take fifteen (15) days for Buyer to receive a full refund of the invoice. The refund/credit will be applied to the original credit card or payment method.

ERROR ON THE ORDER

In the case of an error on the order, Buyer must submit a cancellation request to Seller with the necessary proof (photos, proof of purchase, etc.) within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the product.

Seller shall make every effort to confirm the return with refund within fifteen (15) days of receiving Buyer’s cancellation request.

To qualify for a return with refund, the product must be unused, in the same condition in which it was received and returned in its original packaging (or better).

A return label will be sent to the buyer upon approval of the cancellation request.

The product must be returned by Buyer within seven (7) business days of receipt of the label. Once Seller has proof of shipment of the product (from the carrier) from Buyer, it may take fifteen (15) days for the full refund of the invoice to Buyer. The refund/credit will be applied to the original credit card or payment method.

*To make a cancellation request, the buyer must present himself and identify himself with the invoice or proof of purchase.

DAMAGE OF THE PRODUCT BY THE BUYER

In case of product damages by the Buyer, no refund by the Seller is possible in such a case.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

Please check your bank account first.

Next, contact your credit card company or bank, as there may be a delay before your refund is officially posted.

If after completing all of these steps you still have not received your refund, please contact the Seller or a Zedy representative to assist you (at the contact information listed at the top of this policy).

DISCOUNTED SUBSCRIPTIONS

Only regular priced subscriptions can be refunded.

JURISDICTION

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute related thereto shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Quebec sitting in the judicial district of Longueuil.
